Moreover, the Vilano Journey is made of high grade PVC material with Korean Drop-Stitch construction which makes it a board that’ll last and remain. I’m not saying that it’s anti-damage or that it’ll preserve its strength forever, yet, with little care and caution, this board is strong enough to deliver a great performance since it’s really rigid when fully inflated. Being mentioned, a pressure gauge pump is included in the package; it works fine but I’d always choose to use the electric pump instead.

Accordingly, you may crash this board on rocks, pebbles or any hard surface without a concern, just don’t do it intentionally because you’re more likely to get hurt before the board does.

Size matters a lot when it comes to those stand up paddle boards because with a board like this which is made of military grade materials consisting of ultra-durable PVC/Korean drop stitch construction, 11 feet will allow you to do so much more on board; you don’t have to paddle alone if you ask me, a partner or a pet will always find space on it. Now the Vilano Voyager comes in an all-inclusive package with everything you need to handle it except for the repairing kit which I’d tolerate because I usually take good care of my stuff and hope I don’t need it. You’ll find a 3-piece non-adjustable Aluminum paddle included; you can break it down and it’ll fit perfectly in the back bag. Moreover, a pump with an integrated pressure gauge is part of the package for those of you who’d like to use it; it’ll pump your board up to 18 psi, however, since the Voyager is a big guy I’d recommend the use of an electric pump to save you time and effort.

Another aspect of this board’s functionalities is its storage abilities; it comes with 7 D-rings, 3 are located at the front and 4 at the back, those at the back are connected with a bungee cord to facilitate the process of fixing the stuff you need with you to the board. It’s very useful, and with a board size like this one there is just so much you can take with you, however, it’s not my thing to have my board loaded with stuff, but trust me sometimes you’ll need to and you’ll be glad that the Vilano Voyager is your buddy.

Finally, the Voyager comes with a back bag as mentioned before which is perfect after you remove the slide-in  removable fin,  deflate your board, , fold it up like a sleeping bag, and fit it in the bag with the paddle. This way, you can always find place for it anywhere in your house or car. It needn’t to be mentioned, but deflating those boards is so easy and quick you’ll enjoy looking at it becoming flat and ready to go back home.

Moreover, the Vilano Navigator comes with a 3-piece Aluminum paddle that adds up to the portability of the board; it’s easily adjusted to fit the paddler’s length, however, if you’re a newbie you’d like a lighter paddle. In addition to that you’ll find a removable slide-in fin so that you can easily remove it and pack your board.

Now before talking about how easy it is to deflate the Vilano Navigator you need to know about the 4 D-rings that are located at the end of the board which are connected with a bungee cord, while another 3 D-rings are at the front deck.

Those D-rings are amazing for when you really need to take something with you on board; you can easily fix your tools, a meal-box, a cooler, your shoe, the paddle or anything to those bungee cords and you’re ready to hit the water with everything you need. It’s my favorite part to be honest; it’s just great to be able to take your snack with you on board, lay back after you’ve paddled enough to take a break, enjoy the sun and then eat your favorite snack.

Further, you’ll find a pump with an integrated pressure gauge to inflate your board; it’s easy to use, and it can pump it up to 18 psi, however, 12-15 psi should be enough if you’re not that heavy.

The carry handles are mainly made to facilitate the group transportation of the board; however, they’re strong enough if you needed them for something else.

This board is extremely rigid and stable; it feels like you’re standing on a solid one, and even when you’re paddling you could still stand firm and tall on board. In fact, this board is too rigid and solid for an inflatable one, and the best part about it is jumping to the water after you’re done with paddling; it’s impressively stable and sturdy.

Additionally, the board is almost completely covered with a diamond-groove pattern that is designed to resist slippage and make sure that your feet are comfortable; you can paddle with all of your strength and still maintain great balance on the board. Further, the Megalodon is engineered with military-grade drop stitch and it is reinforced with dense, layered PVC that guarantees a great deal of durability.

Trying the PathFinder on flat water was amazing, it’s unexpectedly rigid and stable, and with the paddle being comfortable to use. However, for those of you who are of a little experience with stand up paddling, you can always paddle while sitting on your knees until you get a grip of the whole thing.

One more thing is the D-rings and bungee cord that are located at the front of the PathFinder are any items you wants to carry on board as you paddle. I honestly don’t need the bungee cord often, but once I was on a little trip in the lake and I really needed to bring a snack- box and water bottle, so the bungee cord did great job of securing it while I paddled.

The bag is really practical; the deflated board fits in it, while you can hang the paddle and the hand pump using the provided strips.
